I’m Stuck!

Yesterday, I had a completely different blog typed up and ready to publish.

Something, though, wasn’t sitting right about it.

It felt a bit forced.

It didn’t feel all that authentic.

In all honesty, this week I’m stuck.

I haven’t written a blog in what feels like a long time.

And, I’m putting a lot of pressure on myself.

It’s gotta be great!

I want to start off with a bang!

Maybe I’ve lost it all.

I took some much needed time off to be with family.

We welcomed a beautiful baby boy—Henry Samson Steele—into the world on Cinco de Mayo at 3:42am.

Other than loads of diaper changes, two weeks were filled with bliss and few worries.

And then I came back to reality and reality hit with a force.

It’s taken a bit to get over inertia.

It’s taken a bit to find that momentum.

It’s taken a bit to tap into flow.

But, then I come back to one of my beliefs about goals—something I wrote about in the early part of 2023:

Just Start

When it comes to your goal, all you have to do is Just Start.

You have to start at the outset and then again each day after that.

Maybe when it comes to a goal—or a project—that you’ve been working on, you decided to put it down for a bit.

And now, it’s hard to find flow.

You’ve lost momentum.

You’ve got some inertia to overcome.

And you’re putting a lot of pressure on yourself.

Here’s a tip—Just Start.

Heck, it worked for me: blog published!

My guess is that it will work for you, too.

Try it…

Just Start!
