Your Out Is Always Waiting

At least mine is.

This morning I put together a hard workout for a small swim group I’ve joined in White Bear Lake, MN. The details of the workout don’t matter other than knowing that the workout included 5 Rounds of 5 different swimming components.

The hard of the workout jumped on for a ride early on.

By Round 2, I was ready to quit.

By Round 4, I was done.

I looked over at one of the swimmers:

“Should we call it a day, Curt? It’s getting kind of late."

It was 6:30am and by this time most mornings, the group is usually relaxing in the sauna—the option that seemed infinitely more appealing than another Round of swimming.

“Ahhh, we’ve come this far, we may as well keep going.”

I smirked: “I was looking for my out, Curt.”

Put Like-Minded People Around You…

…because it will keep YOUR OUT waiting.

That’s it—nice and simple this week.

You’ve got a BIG, SCARY, HAIRY GOAL.

Something bigger, scarier, and, perhaps even hairier is lurking behind: YOUR OUT.

Who’s in your corner to keep YOUR OUT waiting?

Shoo fly.
